Absolutely Fabulous by D&A: Vivienne Westwood FW 2013 & our first day of PFW

It’s the fourth season now since we attended Paris Fashion Week for the first time and it gets more and more fabulous – the shows that we see , the people we meet, the people we rejoin, the atmosphere, the old friends, the new friends, the new collaborations, the so pleasant fatigue, everything! We are so thankful for all good things that happened in the last years. And this season even if we missed some of the shows and parties before the 1st of March we've been very happy to start our first day in Paris with the Vivienne Westwood show. Thank to wonderful D. we enjoyed the show and the private backstage experience.

Regarding Vivienne Westwood FW 2013 Collection the influence came from four corners: historical and ethnic, structure and “flou”. You can easily see the medieval influences mixed with Arabic influences in a manner that takes your breath away. A lot of layering and textures outlining a complex character, a mix of dirty medieval woman and a feminine version of David Bowie.

And as you probably expected the white dress was our favorite. Perfect for a night on the beach, while getting wild and crazy, drinking champagne and enjoying this amazing virginal piece. ( and YES, this is a plan for the end of March)

The conclusion is that we love Vivienne Westwood, her FW 2013 Collection, we adore her vibration and we admire her work and determination.
